HELLO FRIDAY !

I've been waiting for you.

I am exhausted.

Woke up this morning at 4.30 to study for my bio test.

Work's piling up.

Maybe I shouldn't have signed up for 4 ECAs.

Now my only free-after-school days are Fridays.

Then again, I don't wanna drop any of the ECAs I've chosen this term; Netball, MUN, frisbee & football.

Anyway, I realised that.

I forgot to do the whole HAPPY NEW YEAR wish thing.

Leaving for my hometown in Perak tomorrow for CNY.

I personally think having to do Math IA is ridiculous.

It's practically a mathematical report of 15-20 pages, which I find pointless :/

But, oh well, I got myself into IB.

My resolutions?

Well, because I always forget my resolutions by the time February comes, my resolution this year is to have short term resolutions & to put action into words.

So currently, I'm working on NOT procrastinating. This has been at the back of my head for years.

BUT, this time around, it's working surprisingly well. For the first time, I'm actually being on top of my work.

My days pass by like this now;

Mondaywork, tuesdaywork, wednesdaywork, thursdaywork, FRIDAY!, saturdaywork, sundaywork.

Though saturdays & sundays are usually half days for me.

Yeah, this is me trying to survive IB. and to think that I'm only in my second term.

But I guess it's a good thing, I'm finally getting academically disciplined ! Never thought I'd live long enough to see this happening to myself.

So. whoever you are, be it a friend, stranger, random blog hoppers, my laptop,

I hope I made you proud ! (:

& I hope you have a nice day.

because it's a nice feeling, to be happy.

and also because it takes less muscles to smile than to frown, so it's less tiring.

Faster Ride

Gyeeeeahh.

Slept at 3, woke up at 7 and couldn't go back to sleep.

So here I am again once again, oh-so-loyal blogspot.

I'm currently well into the first week of my term break.

Have I been productive in any way?

No.

Though, I did spend the weekend helping my grandmother make kuihkapek(chinese new year biscuits), where all I had to do was fold it. Even that I couldn't do properly cause apparently I wasn't making it puffy enough. :(

and I creepily drew potraits of my friends. I don't do art. So the portraits turned out.. funny. & it's sad. cause I didn't mean for it to be funny.

Extended my stay in Penang for a week, currently renting a room with Rowena. Nicole came up to visit too :D Gonna bring her around though I myself still don't really know the area well. Oh well. (:
Heading back home this weekend.

So how was my first term in Penang?
We-eh-ell. Tons of ups and downs.
But I don't wanna dive into my not-so-happy emotions in the morning. So i'mma just bring up the school highlights here. Let's seeee.

Year 12 Jerajak trip.

Somehow got a pretty vague memory of this trip.

Things that I actually remember from this would be

the games that a few us played in my room at night

all the weird quizzes throughout the trip like if six is 3, three is 5, five is 4, and 4 is cosmic, what is eight?

the treasure hunt on the last day

random activities in the hall like building our team mascot and roleplaying and learning how to count 1 to 10 in japanese (which I proudly still remember. Though not like it's gonna come in handy in any way for me.)

Though it was supposed to be catered for the kids of younger years.

OH WELL (:

still had a good time with the people in the picture, dancing like fools. ;)

Survival camp at Pulau Songsong.

That's how we spent 11-11-11 at 11pm. As you can see, we weren't very creative with the moment. Can't blame us, we panicked with the time pressure.

Weather controller decided to throw a storm our way, rained THROUGHOUT the whole night with lightning and thunder.

Hardly caught any sleep, and when I did, wasn't comfortable at all with the canvas flooded and everything else damp, if not wet.

Must say though, was the best worst experience ever. Never enjoyed a suffering so much, mostly because I was in really good company.

I'd definitely do it all over again (:

Penang HAT 2011. Frisbee competition.

Still can't believe we were named the Sparkling Grapes LOL.

Been really out of practice. There were some really good players in my team. I felt so rusted, playing alongside them.

We lost. ahaa. Had fun though.

Started not knowing anyone from my team, but got to know them more with each game.

Awesome people (:

From this, I earned myself the most painful blister I've ever gotten, which lasted me 2 painful weeks(gave me an excuse to wear sandals to school though. Wee).

Also, was already tanned from school's football practice.

But this 2 day event got me REALLY tanned.

Couldn't pass a single relative in my hometown without having them comment about the current shade of my skin.

This customer at my uncle's restaurant actually asked whether I was Philipino.

Think I'll go learn how to speak Tagalog <3

Sports Day.

School house wonn! :D By a small margin though.

Ran 1500, 800 and 100m relay, of which I got second, second and first respectively.

Some really really impressive runners in Uplands.

Oh what fun, running with the blister (:

In between my events, spent my time taking pictures.

Have yet to upload them to the school's student folder. Guess I'll do that when the next semester starts next year.

Prom.

Got me doing the most last minute shopping I've ever done. But managed it. Like a boss ;D

Not being used to make up, got so annoyed at the fake eyelashes. Would've ripped them off but Siew wouldn't let me. Don't understand how other girls put up with it. Maybe someday I will *looks off dramatically*

Was nervous as hell when I got up to perform with Zac. THANK GOD for my aweshum supportive friends who made noise, making me feel less tensed. Lalalalove 'em!

Besides my wrecked nerves, really enjoyed myself throughout the night, big thanks to my housemates, Morgie and Louis (:

Senior Debate.

I like how it looks like I've got my pen stuck up my nose ._.

Topic was, if i remember correctly, the growing gap between the rich and poor is the fault of world's financial institutions

My team consisted of Siew, David and Steph. With them being really good speakers(not to mention they're SUPAAH SMART, being Axiata scholars), got me a lil worried, thinking I might let them down.

Our team lost though. We generously contributed to that ourselves too, cause all of us went overtime. and that's a -3 x 4 = -12

I somehow got awarded best speaker, which was the last thing I expected, seeing how I'm a lost soul in the world of Econs and that my script wasn't scripted until that morning itself.

The head judge told me, ''I'd never get into an argument with you, cause you'd win'', which made me laugh, cause I don't see myself that way.

Though I probably don't deserve the award, still appreciate it though (:

All that aside, had alot to do in between, like TONS OF WORK and subject tests to study for.

I really need to work on my procrastination, gotta be more initiative too.

Did last minute studying for all my tests. Sigh, need to change that if I wanna survive IB cause I know it only gets harder from here.

Keep telling myself that, but have yet to put any actions into my conscience.

Chasing Cars

One week break's over. That was fast :/

Now back in boarding. Had intentions to blog before this but the boarding wifi blocks out blogspot. Eeeh, geram. Currently using roommate's broadband, suddenly felt like blogging.

So from where I last left off 2 posts ago ;

Now I'm pretty settled in in my school and in boarding. Getting the hang of things.

And I did end up changing my elective subject from Film Studies to Chemistry. I've got alot to do, academically. Back in high school, my forte was English & Math. But now I'm struggling in both. For Math, I have myself to blame, lacking in practice. However, going through English, it really made me think that the standard of English in the public education system should really be raised. It's ridiculous really, the current standard right now. It's almost embarrassing. I've got so much to catch up on, from the Literature side of English.

I'm managing Econs pretty alright, I would like to think. German is tough, but I'm surviving, barely, but still keeping my head above the water. Chemistry is ahaaaaa, alright so far, I love my Chem teacher, Mr. Newton ''Don't fear, Newton's here'' HEH :) Bio is pretty alright too.

But I know everything just gets tougher from here. So high time I buck up and cut up the slack.

Putting all the academical things aside, I'm so glad that I've got sports.
Finally proper constant exercise after my 8 month laze :)
I've got netball & football.
Ahaa, football. Only past ''experience'' I've had is one futsal game back in 07 and having my brother kick the ball at me when he gets the chance. But I'm getting to know the game, not an easy game, but pretty fun. though tiring.

I've got tons of pictures of all the ''in betweens'' that happened in the period that I've been here. I'll try to find time for that.
But for noww, gotta go do my Chem and Econs for tomorrow.

Just longing for the weekend to come.

First week went by alright.

I thought I'd be more homesick than this, but I think I'm holding up pretty fine. So far, at least. Probably because my housemates are really nice.

My subjects for IB are English SL, German(ab initio), Mathematics HL, Biology HL, Economics SL & Film Studies HL

But am thinking of changing Film Studies to Chemistry. Though I'd much prefer Film studies cause it's REALLY interesting and I've never been a fan of Chemistry, but I guess Chemistry would be more of use. Sigh :/

As you can see, I've already messed up my bed.

I do miss home though.
My family.

My friends.
Ad.
My dogs.

I'm still trying to get used to the international community.

and trying to get used to studying from 8 am till 3.20pm. It's a huge transition, from lazing for 8 months.

Besides that, guess I'm doing alright, starting to get the hang of it.

A New Day Has Come

Okay so I kinda abandoned my blog a lil :/

But I've been BUSY. Well not entirely.

Spent the most of August in China, where blogspot is banned. So is Facebook. Not to mention YOUTUBE too. All I could do online for 3 weeks was to google stuff. Nyeh. Was fun though, the trip. Went to a few cool places, like Xian where the Terracotta warriors are, and the Shaolin Temple - huayaaa!

So after bumming around for EIGHT months, I'm finally gonna be starting school. Will be doing the IB(International Baccalaureate) Programme in Uplands International School in Penang. I'm EXCITED. and NERVOUS. and a lil SAD to leave home and everyone.Can't believe I'm the new girl again. Starting from scratch without a friend.

Well, we'll see how this chapter of my life unravels.

Aights, am back from Mt. Kinabalu.

I had no idea what to expect, as I was joining the group alone, not knowing anyone.
But WHOA, what an amazing experience. The charity, the people, the hike.

& yes, I did manage to raise the RM 2K for Shelter Home. Though my mum got most of it, as her circle of friends are definitely are in more of a position to help with that.

Anyway, as mentioned, I decided to pay my Singaporean cousins a visit 2 weeks ago.
Took a bus down. I nearly missed that bus. I got there like a minute before they left. PHEW.
My time management ain't exactly flawless, I'd say.
Was a 5 hour journey. & in that 5 hours, I made 2 friends.

It's amazing how the MRT gets you to nearly any point in Singapore.

Just a note, if you're planning to take a trip down to Singapore by bus;

I would recommend First Coach if you're travelling alone & Aeroline if you're travelling in a group.
First Coach is cheaper about RM36, the seatings are comfortable and they've got individual media entertainment though I think you have to bring your own earphones.
Aeroline is double decked. But the lower one only functions as a lounge fit for 6. That's probably why it's about RM95. & also because they provide food and there's an attendant on duty.

But I think I personally prefer First Coach.

Just back from Singapore yesterday. I took a bus down to visit my cousins. & now I'm at Penang, for the 3rd time in three weeks.

My mum shoved this newspaper article in my face couple of weeks back, about a guy who was once paralyzed, but now up & kicking, wanting to climb Mount. Kinabalu. It's a charity climb, with it's aim to raise 100K for Shelter Home. Consisting of 30 climbers, each participant is suppose to raise 2K.

& they were still lacking of 18 climbers then.
So I thought, ''heyy, why not?!''
Hence, I sent an email to the organizer, stating my interest in participating & I got myself a place.

So, on the 13th to 16th of July, this girl's gonna attempt at conquering Mount. Kinabalu, baybeh ;)

Our first training was last Saturday, hiking up Mount. Angsi in Senawang.
Was my first time meeting the other participants, though not all were present.
They were mostly middle-aged, I was the youngest.
Really nice energetic people :)

I started the hike right at the back with Julie & the sweeper(and organizer), Edwin.
Julie's among the older climbers. Her bag looked somewhat huge & too heavy for a 1day hike, so I couldn't help but to offer my assistance. But she said she needed to train. After a while, she said her bag was too heavy so she took out her 1.5 litre water bottle and held it. Edwin & I told her that she would need to keep her hands free when . So after some persuading, she let me carry her bottle in my bag :)

Otw up, I started pacing because if I stop, I'd just puncture out.
So without realising, I overtook my team. Then I met up with them boys.
The middle guy is AMAZING. He was carrying this huge haversack.
At the peak, I discovered that he brought a WHOLE freaking watermelon & an unopened container of Nata de Coco.

It's a wonder how I'd always do things in dreams that I would never do in real life. Like last night, I dreamt that I got so pissed off at this 9 year old, I got his arm twisted. Did feel damn good though :)

I've stopped teaching. Finally. Was counting down the days.

Teaching has taught me some life lessons though ;

- NEVER judge a book by it's cover. Just because they look cute, doesn't mean nuts.
- if a kid says he gotta pee, chances are, he probably doesn't. Can't be fooled even if he has his hands covering his crotch.
- the words kids and innocence no longer go well together. 9 year olds going around saying the word sex.

Okay fine, some serious life lessons ;
- teachers are extremely under-appreciated. Teachers are so damn restricted & have to watch everydamnthing they do. Can't say the wrong things, even if the students are being plain idiotic. Can't give too much homeowork or you'd get parents complaining. Can't punish the kids with a cane, or you'd be in court. Can't be too easy either, you'd get in trouble with admin. Can't use much creativity, got a scheme to follow. Try being easygoing with the kids, they'd step on your head. Try being really strict, they'd hate you.

- teachers are underpaid. I exclude myself, cause being a student, I think my pay was awesome. But if it was my job for real, I would hate the ridiculous salary our government's paying for a job that doesn't give you space to be creative because teachers have to follow a ridiculous teaching scheme.

Teachers are surviving HEROES, I tell you.

As much as I'm complaining, I did enjoy teaching (some classes).
Their answers can be so damn adorably hilarious.

Updates.

#1. I have been teaching at my primary school, as an English teacher. 1 week left. No, I don't curse in class. Fine, maybe I've said the word hell. but that doesn't count.

#2. I found my diving license ! ;D

#3. I finally created a Facebook account. LOL.

#4. I passed my driving exam! After failing it once. No, not slope. Parking :/

#5. I still don't like peas & beans.

#6. I NEED to get my height checked. I just want to touch 160. Damn, that can't be too much to ask for.

Anyway, went to a Japenese restaurant couple of weeks ago with my family to celebrate my SPM results.
& the place serves orgasmic food! dehhh-yumm!
I kept the receipt just so I can remember the restaurant's name, but my plan backfired, cause I lost the receipt :/
All I remember is that the name sounds like a chinese one, which I found weird. It's somewhere in Tropicana.

Quite devastated about that.
but anyway, here's some Tioman pictures, from Nic's camera.

It was a diving trip with Nic, her family & some of her dad's friends.
so all together there was, if i remember correctly, 13 of us.
Oh & I found my diving license! ;D

Yeah, Nic got a haircut, just before we left.
That alone took 2 hours, cause Nic got the guy so confused about what she wanted.

Before settling in our room, Nic had a thousand things hanging on her, made her look like an over-excited tourist who googled up 'what to bring to a vacation' and brought everything. I looked overly casual with jeans on an island.

For the second dive on the first day, Nic got too damn lazy.

So I went with the others.

Which was when I met Ben & Pak Man. :D

Pak Man was the man on the sterring whereas Ben works for the diving centre.

Making our way to the boat with our equipment. Heavy stuff :/

I absolutely loved the blue boat we used.
I miss sitting right at the front with my legs dangling off the boat.

Nicole tried fishing on the second night with her brother, was their first time. Nicholas caught a coral, so I guess that counts?

That's Laurent on our last meal before everyone headed different ways.
He taught me how to say 1-10 in french. I only survived until 6. He had a partner in crime, this Belgium dude who's name has escaped my mind.
GAH. If only I can access my memory card. I had pictures of everyone :(

Let's start off with hotmail.Bloody damn annoying, hotmail.

#1. I get random spam mail clogging up my inbox with ''get rich'' schemes, ''free'' gifts, prostitute finding, hair ripping, skin tearing, body piercing, armpit shaving, butt farting nonsense. Pfft, so what I got a lil carried away with the description.

#2. Somehow MY account start sending spam mails.

#3. Now hotmail has blocked my account from myself.

#4. Hotmail's telling me that I have to get a link reset my password. They sent the link to my account. My already blocked account, that is. How on earth am I to get a link to unblock my account when they sent the link to the damn blocked account. Ironic, much?

A couple of weeks ago in my head, there was dudeA saying, you should do medicine. I mean you like bio & you're the annoyingly curious type. Doctors make good money. Or you could be a vet, ya know, since you like animals.

it's taking forever.

Sooooo, valentine's dayy.
I personally think valentine's day is slightly overrated.

the staff there kinda looked at us weird, probably because Ad looks like a malay, with all the huha going about how valentine is haram. If only a police decided to walk in at that moment..

we headed to my place in Bkt Rimau.
Ironic how my brother invited him for a single's party that night. Nice one, kor.

we practically lazed all afternoon, then headed to SS19 cause he had band practice there.
ate dinner at a restaurant there where I overheard a woman's conversation about her son getting a ring for his girlfriend for valentines & how she thinks it's too much, too soon.
Ad calls it ''eavesdropping'', but really, I could be standing a hundred metres from that woman & would still be able to hear what she's saying.

okay scratch that. I forgot how to say ring in cantonese, but you get my point.

Growing up, I used to listen to ''Si Qian Jin''(direct translation, that'd be 4 thousand gold if I'm not mistaken) every chinese new year.

back then they were about 7, i think.
they're sort of like a girl band consisting of 4.

I thought it was really adorable back then, seeing small kids sing and all.

BUT just because it's cute to have small kids sing and dance in videos, doesn't mean any kid should be making CNY albums.
I walked in Giant yesterday & as usual they have some music on.
since it's nearing CNY, it made sense that a CNY song was playing.

but,

it was a small girl.

she was adorable, sure.

but she gave me goose bumps for all the wrong reasons.
Giant should change the disc fast, cause it's not very welcoming
if anything, it's slightly creepy.

speaking of kids, I wanna slaughter those assholic kids from the police quarters beside my house.
I think there are at least 10 of them I wanna kill, aged proabably 7-13.

they're so young but thanks to their cop dads, they think they own the world.

1. they bark at my dogs like idiots.
2. they throw stuff at my dogs.
3. stand right infront of my gate for several minutes, making stupid remarks at my dogs like ''gigitlah saya''.
uncivilised f-cktards.

those words don't do any justice when describing how pathetic these kids are.
it sucks that all I can do is shout at them.

Hello.

I've been following my mum to school
routine would be help out at the school bookshop, lunch then help out at this other bookstore

bumped into my taekwando teachers back in primary
I missed them and all the taekwando classes :(
anyway, they said I'm tall now!
probably because I was really short back then, but still. TALL :D

Anyway, I'm a lil lazy for words
so I'm just gona throw in a whole pile of pictures here from Australia :)

I took hundreds of pictures in that 2 weeks, so am just gona throw in random ones

Lennart's sorta like a brother, just slightly inappropriately behaved sometimes
He has generously thought me some German, only telling me what it means after I succeed in pronouncing it

Spent our first few days in Melbourne

HAHA. Lennart got picked to be a ''volunteer'' for this street performer
thanks to his involvement, we had to stand there for half an hour
all he had to do was help lift this guy(in the pic) and pull a string
the performance wasn't bad though

all I wanted was a decent picture of the street

Anyway, just a few days ago, Joon Keit told me that Kevjumba was at Melbourne at the exact same days as I was
half of me wanted to kill him for telling me that cause now I know I had a chance to see Kevjumba but didn't! boohoo

Next, we drove to Frankston(dad got us a car) about an hour's drive from Melbourne

where we spent the next 5 days or so with auntie Sharon & uncle Glenn
we stayed at their place, but it couldn't fit all 6 of us

so they got a caravan parked right infront of their house
my eldest bro & Lennart slept there
second brother was supposed to, but he was too much of a girl and slept in, heh.

I didn't care that I looked like a boxfish in that oversized coat, I was freezing
it was supposed to be summer, but the weather's got us punk'd

the water was rather cold, but got used to it after a while

I sorta froze and slowly descended, doubt they can do much harm though?

the aquatic variety there wasn't much, but it was nice diving at a different environment anyway

Yeahhh. I'm back from Australia

been back for a couple of days already. spent new years asleep on a plane.
& sorry for not replying Christmas & New Year messages cause by the time I got back, Digi has cancelled all of them

part of me just want to cuddle myself back to high school where everything and everyone is familiar, but reality strikes, that chapter is over.
Now it feels like I'm standing alone infront of hundreds of different paths and I know it'll be soon when I have to choose one that'll make a difference in my life
what do I want to do?
I'm caught in between medical & mass comm
there's also a slight chance of doing form 6
any advices, anyone?

meanwhile, I've got about 3 months to linger around
All my friends either has a job or sent to NS
My mum wants me to take mandarin & IT classes :/
I'm still hoping I can convince her otherwise
My standard2 level of mandarin just ain't enough for my mum. aww.

so what I might be doing this 3 months would be
1. go China for a couple of weeks, spend some time with my dad. Oh, & he might send me to some short martial arts course in some temple. HAHA. Let's hope not! or I'm gona do some bad ass kicking when I'm back. HUA-YAA!

2. Get a job. maybe work as a part time teacher in my mum's school. Or the typical after high school jobs.
3. Go for classes. Mandarin & IT? sigh.
4. HOPEFULLY join back choir. transport's the only problem. That's what made me quit back then anyway.
5. GET MY DRIVING LICENSE :D

Some between SPM stuff I did
& nohh, I didn't take SPM lightly

the Pangkor trip was rather interesting

we rented a car to drive around

paid RM70 for a Ferrari (Proton Saga, probably the first ever modal, makes hell of a noise)

then we went snorkeling

it was a very pleasant snorkeling site
(screw that. I got bruises and scratches from the snorkeling site. If you see it, you'd think I was involved in a fight. the rocks were probably sharpened)
there were many fishes (pffft. probably about 5 types, & I'm being generous here)

as I said, we had a ahem, Ferrari
top shape Ferrari
(the Proton Saga broke down at the temple as shown below)

(but no worries, made a call and got it started again)

headed for lunch, then back to the beach
where we did jet skiing
Lennart paired with my youngest cousin, and me with my other cousin

the ocean was amazing (it had rubbish on it, which clogged my jet engine at the last 5 minutes, which made my engine noisy as hell)

my eldest brother asked me whether I wanted to swim across with him
I looked over, thought, ahh, looked relatively near
(I was wrong. my distant judging apparently sucks)
in 10 minutes(half an hour), we reached that island

then we swam back
I felt amazing (my arm muscles were killing me after that. not like I swim often, probably about once in half a year?)

that'd be my eldest brother and Lennart posing with the Ferrari(again, it's a Saga)

So after everthing, at about 4 plus, we were ready to head back to the jetty
the Ferrari did an amazing job at getting us back there
(the Saga started to groan so we were at a speed of an old lady crawling. Wait, sorry, even an old lady crawling would over take us. You know how in movies, where all the cars would overtake one slowass car? that happened to us.)

Let me emphasize yet again, the Ferarri was really awesome
(it broke down, no wait. it DIED. we were about 5 minutes from the jetty. the engine was smoking and water was leaking. So we called the dude who rented us the car, told him about it, and dumped the car)

then we were at the ferry, ready to get back, everthing was on time
( we sat in the cold-as-hell ferry, waited for about an hour)

Oh, and the ferry really really discourages people to smoke, as shown below

YO.
had our prefects dinner last friday nightt.
I decided not to go at first, then decided to, then not, then to, then not
then finally did.
us seniors aside, the attendance was pretty dissapointing
there was no performance, best thing that happened on stage was Mr. Victor's speech.
oh well, it was still our night.. sort of.

The theme was retro, so at about 4 plus, Nic, Man, Jue & I went and got our hair done.
after getting all prepared, we still had ample of time. we arrived pretty early. by that, I mean quite damn early. We were the first to arrive.

don't mind Wei Sheng. He gets confused with the weather.

I got so damn hungry while waiting :/

So while hundreds of couples were getting married, I was celebrating my birthday, in a small way

My mum thought I should do something grand, you know with the whole 101010 thing.
but nahhh, I figured it'll mean more to me if I spend it with those close to me (:
So instead of a grand rand pand jand kand bang, I did 10 things
some planned, some unplanned, heh.
can't blame me, had no time to think of it as I was having my exams

Woke up at 5.30 in the morning for a walk, Walk for Sight
was a LEO event
was suppose to walk in pairs, one blind folded, one leading the blindfolded one
so Nicole was the blind one
was a 3.8 km walk
definitely enjoyed leading blind Nicole
like walk in zigzags in a perfectly straight road, not tell her there's a bump or slope unless it's an extreme one, make her feel stranded when she's actually facing a wall and i'm right behind her
had quite alot of other walkers laughing at us

plus, we took so many shots
we tried making it emotional, but we'd both laugh our asses off so it didn't turn out all that well

Nic and I baked a cake!
well, what I did was mostly assisting cause I don't actually know how to bake

was a cheese cake, baked it at my Bkt Rimau place
got the kitchen really messy
smashed biscuits with our fist, wasn't a wise thing to do
made our own caramel, which was a cool process for me, cause I'm such a newbie

Okay, so it's not so pretty
but it taste good :D
the black thing there is a raisin btw, and not anything else that it could've resembled
brought it to school, Wei Han and Aud loved it
ohhhh yeahh ;DDDDD

Nic & I took an hour's dip in my jacuzzi
we foamed up the tub so much that the even the bathroom floor got some of it
made beards and unibrows with all that foam
I should get a rubber duck in that tub
we had maggi in there too

after drying up from the jacuzzi

my dad's flight to China was that night, you see

so we went ''sight seeing'' around the neighbourhood

Had dinner with my family
this meant alot to me cause since my dad left to China for work back in 2001, I hardly got to spend my birthdays with him
and this year, I finally did (:
wanted to go Zanmai cause I love Japanese food
but it was full, half hour wait, and we had no time as my dad's flight was that night
so this Thai place(i think it was Thai? can't remember) where we thought the food would be good
I mean Thai food's always good, right?
oh and I met Syaza from form 3 here.
wanted to say wave or something but she didn't look at me hahaha
anyway, we sat down, browse throught the menu, but funny thing, nothing interest any of us at all, never happened before
so my eldest brother suggested we stand up and leave, which is exactly what we did, but I felt terribly bad for that
ended up in Italiannies, YUMMM
though I had a tidbit too much cheesy food
but yummy anyway.

got it from Leong's auntie's friend, or his friend's auntie..?
yeah, the previous owner couldn't take care of her as she travels often
so poor doggie here has been caged for most of her life

which was a HUGE GIGANTIC NONO to me
I really don't fancy names that describe the colours
namely browny, choci, choco, koko, snowy
I'm not saying it's dumb, it's just something I won't do
it's like how I don't like milk, and some people do

yeah, she's 3 and I shouldn't change her name
but she gets so excited that she responds to anything
so we took advantage of that and changed her name
my mum suggested Brandy, since it's still rather close to her original name

she never says no to her tennis ball and this other squeeky ball
she's runs like mad, like 3 years of energy released all at once & she's clumsy like nuts
so when she runs, she hits anything in her way
the door, the couch, our treadmill, the chairs
and it doesn't stop her.

Initially Peanut was excited about her
then he hated her, attacked her several times, probably because she's rather cocky towards him and didn't show any effort in sniffing his backside or due to jeolousy, idk
but now they're okayy
so I'm not worried..

yeahh, so I haven't been online in ages.
but nothing new happened in the span of the last month. only adrenaline rush I get is probably when I trip on the stairs or when I'm rushing for school. Been more conservative in class lately. Made my comfort zone at where I sit, making small talk/playing funlame games with Joel/Woei Hwa/Wei Loan, mostly not concerning anything that anything actually matters.

I guess there's when the whole ''what happened to you, Jyen?'' keeps popping up. I guess this is me drawing the line, prioritising. I keep getting the whole ''you've changed, Jyen. What's up?''. I don't think I have changed at all. This is just another side of me that has never really been portrayed I guess, not in class anyway. Not like I stopped laughing or anything like that. Yeah sure, I used to go fool around at the back of the class alot back then & shout & joke & and make unappropriate jokes whereas now I just sit at my place at, in chemistry terms, Group6, Period2. I still do, just not often. As I said, I've made my comfort zone at where I'm seated so I stay there. Plus, I think it's high time I get my act together and finally study, pay attention in class, use the free periods to do benefitial things, & all the things you'll write in a ''Characteristics of an A+ student'' essay. I've only got myself and school teachers to rely on, since I don't have tuition to back my crappy memory up. I really don't like Chemistry, just needed to say that.

Being a lil tuned down, I get to see things in a slightly larger magnification. Like I get to see the type of friends around me I guess. Let's pretend I'm being hypothetical. There are some who will always have my back, check in every once in a while. There are some who bitch around when you're not there, in fact, they'll bitch about anyone behind their back. There are some who likes being at your company preferably only when you're fun. There are some who come to you, only when they need you, like for pictures/camera usage or maths teaching. I'm good at maths :) So yeah, I guess it's not surprising when you find friends like that. I'm not gonna get bitchy or emotional, cause I like to believe I'm more matured than that & no hard feelings towards anyone anyway. Still friends with everyone around me, no doubt, with no overrated high school drama, not with me included anyway. Plus, I did say it's all hypothetical.
I know I've got rain-or-shine friends and ADressedRangerInANutTookANinkupau, so that's more than enough for me cause I'm definitely complete with them :)
I still really don't like Chemistry, just needed to repeat that.

Would like to emphasize again, I'm not a changed person going down some sort of emotional road. I've passed puberty, so no hormonal changes for me & Do Not attack me with all that ''you got PMS arh?'' crap. If it satisfies your curiousity, I'll tell you when I'm in a period where I could be at the risk of having any premenstrual syndromes. I'm still all ''fun and slightly unappropriate'', just that now I've got my own time and place.

In attempt to try to study for my practical this friday, I've been listening to Baroque music for like the past half hour or so.
It's not helping, it's just very calming :(
too freaking calming
like I wanna listen it to while sleeping, not while trying to study its texture and what not.

Anyway, school had it's Carnival Day last Saturday
My class spirit was aweshummm ;D
but other than that,
the carnival seriously had nothing to shout about
especially not the karaoke
out of 20 singers, there were about 3 good ones, maybe?
& they played oldies, not that I don't like oldies cause I do, but it's a Carnival for goodness sake
I had about 4 coupons,
gave 1 to Ad, Sze Tah bought one
and the other 2 was the hardest 20 ringgit I've ever tried to spend. Nothing much to buyy. Food wasn't all that. Games were quite a let down, sorry to say.
I mean the carnival didn't SUCK bad. It was just rather average, nothing creative. but it was after all our first time, so I guess that's our excuse.
