13th June

Audrey Tanusha Soosay's birthday. Masa tu I masih kat Germany lagi. ish. I missed the outing they had. Was her first time going out with kita punya gang of kawan(strict parents), and I MISSED THAT! Was waiting for 4 years for that to happen. geram. but nevermind, i'll get to teach her how to ride a bike! :D

Anyway, been close to her ever since Form 1, before I even met Nic, Jian, Man and all. Back then, I could always count on her to finish her homework so I can copy hers and finish mine. HAHA. But as time flew, I was accused (by Nic, Man, Jian and Aud herself) for influencing her, and the current audrey doesn't always finish her homework. woops? (:

For 4 years, she's been such an awesome friend. Always there in times of need. Reliable. Always coming up with lame jokes which turns out funny in the end. Big fat fan of Johny Depp. She's into older guys, but older guys, i mean too-old-for-her guys, usually celebs. When she's excited, she gets super excited. Knows how to show she cares. Always makes sure I know how to take care of myself especially when I'm walking back alone or leaving the country. Very mother-ly towards me, I always kena from her when I simply cross the road,tip toe at the kaki lima, balance myself at any edge etc., she thinks I have the safety-awareness of a 5 year old. Oh do I love Audrey Tanusha Soosay (:





21st June

Gladwin Jiann Singh's birthday. I treated him to his favouritest-est-est-est-est drink in the world. Coffee! :D

Met him back in form 1. Got slightly close for a while when he confessed to me that he liked this other girl my age, which is hilarious now to think of it. Tried helping him out. Wasn't really close when I came in form 2, cause he dalam morning session dah. Got close again in form 3, with all the Korbu and frisbee training. Still close now (:

This boy loves COFFEE. Look at his blog site la. gladwinjiannsinghthecoffeeholic. haha. He's AWESOME at sports. Got first in 400m and high jump this year. freaking good in frisbee and tennis. Very vein-y hands. BLUR. He winks ;D Has a weird habit of blinking his eyes in a squinting way, it comes and goes. Has a weird way of pushing his specs up too. hahah. He's open minded. Knows how to prioritise. He's stubborn but with good intentions. Really caring. Like this once I skipped breakfast and had a stomach ache, he went and got me bread though i already told him not to. thanks, glad (: and his caringness makes him go the distance. literally. eg? He ran from USJ 2 to my place just to pass me my housekeys so I won't be late for tuition. Really knows how to treat people nice and make them feel good. I'm glad to have got to know someone like Gladwin Jiann Singh (:

Jeremy Yow Jian Yi. Still remember Form 1 first term's open day was when I started to know him. Was chatting down at the walkway near my class, Audrey, Darren, Jeremy and I (used to be the four of us back then. gosh i miss those days) . Told me his Chinese name was ''Jian Yi''. I didn't believe him till he showed me his report card. Started calling him Jian ever since (:

He's a really good swimmer. Buff. Strongest guy in class. I'm not even a challenge when we arm wrestle. hahah. Innocent, I'd say (though the movie might have stole his eyes' virginity). Very sensible. Knows how to take care of people's feelings. When he smiles, you can't see his eyes. heee. Doesn't like taking pictures cause he thinks he somehow doesn't look good in them, i beg to defer! haha. He has a very small boy grin. Very good listener too. In his ways, he knows how to cheer people up. I can see him as a father already, a damn good one too. He actually reminds me of my own. (:

Things may be a lil different now, we may not be as close as we used to be. You might think of me different from back then. We might be changing, we might go different ways, but nevertheless, I'll never regret being friends with you cause I know i'm lucky as hell to have been friends with Jeremy Yow Jian Yi.

So yeah, Happy Super Belated Birthday to Aud, Glad and Jian.

Wokay, this part right here IS for you when you get back jyen, since i have the full freedom to terrorize your blog, i'm missing you so much i decided to leave something here As a welcome home message. =D
Right. I'm not gonna scream out welcome home like a retard, since well, you're about 1 week plus away from arriving home, so , i'll just say a few things so that when you do get back and read this, it'll still feel as new..lol. Darl i miss you so so so so so so so so so frigging much ( i'll bet a buck fifty that Nic misses you as much but i definitely OWNED the miss-o-meter lol! ) and I hope your trip has been awesome so far, and would be an awesome memory when you get home. I am fine and will be fine back here. There are a thousand more things i could say here but i don't wanna ruin your blog with it so i'll cut it short. I'm looking forward to reading that journal, since you promised to log everything and everywhere you've been to over there. That'll be interesting. So right, I'm suppose to write 25 random things, facts, habits, or goals about myself. So I guess I'll state out un-obvious WJY facts.
Here goes..


Fact 1. My name is actually spelt as Jyen Yiee and not Jian Yee, Jien Yi, Jan Yie, Jen Yee, or any other spelling anyone else can come up with that sounds like my name.
Fact 2. I was born in Sabah. My brothers too.
Fact 3. When I as about 3 or 4, my ambition was to be an anchovy (ikan bilis)
Fact 4. I was 4, I accidentally left a red balloon in a cupboard in some hotel room in Sabah. and until now, I wish i could get back the balloon.
Fact 5. Till I was about 3/4/5, i hated guys. I actually wished i could get married to my brother instead of other guys. I am definitely different now.
Fact 6. I used to think that ''fabuloso''(that ditergent brand?) means clean and smelling nice. I used to go around asking my maid back in Sabah ''Kak, saya fabuloso tak?''
Fact 7. I used to think Enid Blyton was a guy.
Fact 8. I love bubbles and anything to do with them. blop :D
Fact 9. My first crush was in standard 2. SJK(c) Sungai Way. Oh & I've been to 3 primary schools.
Fact 10. After i turned 10/11/12(can't remember) I started to have this fear of butterflies. You can stop laughing now.
Fact 11. When I was about to move out of court 6 to where i'm staying now, I bid goodbye to every wall there was.
Fact 12. 10 is my favourite number. because I was borned on the 10th day of the 10th month (10th October) and J which is my initial, is the 10th letter in alphabetical order. and I'm in the year of the Rooster which is the 10th animal out of 12 in the Chinese race, or some sort.
Fact 13. However hard I try, I can't seem to pronounce 'dr'. Like if I attempted to say drain, it'll sound like jwain. So adrian becomes ajien hydrogen becomes hyjojen, dress becomes jwess. sigh. it goes on. Nic teases me alot.
Fact 14. I don't really like going to the doctor's.
Fact 15. According to Adrian, I'm accident/danger prone. which is sadly true. I have most probably tripped over anything that I can trip on.
Fact 16. I still have not memorised the 12 times table(if that's what you call it). & I don't really plan to.
Fact 17. I LOVE being under the rain. Though Nicole & nearly everyone else forbids me :/
Fact 18. I'm in a way sensitive but I'm not sensitive about alot of things. Figure that out.

Anyway! This week's been crazyy. Started from Saturdayy.

Oh yah yah. Sunday was our school's IR. Nicole ngan I were the awesome emcees. :D

Realise that the mic's not there. Oh and she's suppose to be ''the guy'' version of emcee's. we weren't really matching. Hence the pink scarf.

We were nearly late. when my bro dropped us off at the gate, we ran in the clubhouse with our shorts and t-shirts. then got changed to our formal wear.
My favourite part of the event would definitely be the beginning! :DDDDDD
we couldn't get the crowd to settle and shut the heck up.
So! We did what we already planned. Nic beatboxed. then i came in singing My Humps.
hahaha! We thought they would be all like looking at us one kind. but instead, they woo-ed. awesome crowd. especially Jue, Jan and all.


Commitee's sketch was up first. Some comedy love story. and of course, Jason plays the girl with balloon boobs and brown wig[ wish i took a picture. dang] with Nic & I as ''her'' bestfriends.


Jason, Nic and I, as a(nameless) band performed again nearing the end. Jason with guitar, Jyen with vocals, Nic with everything else, which include harmonica and beer bottles. We did Britney Spears, Jason's idea. covers of Toxic, Hit Me Baby One More Time & Womanizer. Toxic went fine. At first Leanne and Kar Yan got up with flowers for the fun of it. then, Wilson did too. haha! din see that coming. Then Hit Me Baby one More Time was good, with the crowd shouting/singing along, HIT ME BABY ONE MORE TIME! :D

Then! gawd. Womanizer. hahahah! I forgot my lyrics!guess i should have memorised earlier than the morning morning of the event. but i think i mumbled something which kinda/kinda did not cover up. and i laughed alot too, can't remember at what, but i couldn't help it. haha wtf. Plus, i could hear that Jason's chords and my notes were like. weird? so yeer. not like what we practiced la. then i'll look at him one kind. then he'll reply my look one kind. damn confused. hahhaha. was screwed up but damn fun la with Synclonize, Veracious and the crowd. Synclonize helped us out with back up singing/shouting, which really helped hell alot in a retarded way that got the crowd going. and Veracious(Jue's dance group. they're good) were damn enthusiastic, singing along. haha. thanks guys. <3

I missed alot of classes on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday due to Sidang Ridaksi & Kawad practice. sigh, there goes Term 2 results. Oh yeah, thanks to some form 3 girl who won some Hannah Montana contest, Shila who's suppose to be like this Malaysian version of Hannah Montana? came and had like this mini concert at our school. urhh..?

Uh oh hahaha. Aud & I were going around collecting money for prefect's nametag on Thursday. went to 5C. No one in. so we hung about for a while. Jiann's essay book was open. and he only wrote one paragraph of an essay entitled ''the most embarrasing moment of my life''. Well, with pencil, we helped him finish the essay alright. we're such kind kind souls.
hahah! & dnt worry, Jiann, we don't think you're gay. bt that was fun as hell.

Oh yah, and for the fun of it, I scribbled ''Keep your eyes, keep your eyes on me'' on this magnet board stuck on my freezer door. & I came back one day to see that my eldest brother replied.

Uh Oh, our prefects' team won for the council frisbee game. woo!
we only had 2 games. won 7-1 with SJ & 5-1 with Seafield.
that was a good thing since we got disqualified for football, netball & basketball. haha?
was on a friday. which means I also had tuition at 7.30.
game ended at bout 6.45. was in a rush back. So i followed Theresa back, who followed her dad.
Halfway home, then only i freaking remembered i left my keys with Jia Ming. owh shit.
I tak sampai hati ask Theresa's dad to turn back just to get my key.
So i called my second bro to see if he's at home. and he was not. & won't be back soon either. & my other brother's at my hometown with my mum. just my luck.
when i got to my gate, i sat at the front. & called Glad.

''urhm, are you still at the field?''
''don't tell me you left something here..''
''i sort of did...? my keys. are with Jia Ming, i think. check?''
*shouts over to Jia Ming & checks*
''the one with the long chain? yeah, it's here. where are you?''
''stuck like an idiot sitting alone outside my own house which has no one in it. family out.''

OMG. He was from USJ 2.
While waiting, i called Darren to tell him to wait a lil before coming to fetch me.
called Nic & Man too.
Then i heard some running footsteps. Gladwin, of course.
goshh. when he reached, he was all sweaty and crazy exhausted.
I felt so freaking bad =(
What's worse is i couldn't do anything, like get him something to drink or some sort. cause I was already in a rush for tuition. & he shoo-ed me in to get changed & he left.
I owe you big time, GJS.

Today's scouts was interesting. Sze Tah was the only ASM who was able to make it.
Prudence came back too.
Played some somehow-something-to-do-with-isyarat game.
It was conducted by the 6 MKKP's. and we other 6 lead our own patrols. My patrol got 3rd. Wilson betray weyh.


At the end, we played toss the smile.
The rule was only one person can smile as the smile is ''tossed'' around. Whoever that's not holding it cannot smile or had to enter the circle of losers lah.
So i attempted at it. Was actually pretty steady, holding back my smile.
Then, argh, Jason! After he lost, he started dragging people in.
He came crawling to me with his typical style. Came nearer, I was holding back my laughter like crazysiao. When he was right infront of me, he lifted one leg, still in a position of crawling.
That did it. I burst out laughing. Idiot.

So 3 by 3, girl losers had to catwalk and guylosers had to crawl in like some seductive way in front of all the Remaja scouts (thanks alot for the suggestion, Jia Jiunn)
I did with Nic & Theresa.
More attention was on the guys cause they were SO exegerative.
Jason's group did some humpy thing on each other. haha! yeee!
Then the next group, Kah Sern did this lip licking bloody horny face. wtf! & Wilson was doing sexy hairflips. haha! what can i say, my best model.
The last group, 2 guys went crawling. They said Gladwin was gona do a solo. So we were like okay..
Then Glad's turn. at first he crawled. pretty awkwardly. we all were like.. urh, huh?
Then he got up. yawned. got us confused.
and suddenly he did all this seducive moves.
hahaha! ex TL weyh! x)

For Leo, we got interviewed for next b.o.d. that was about it.

Nic & Man came over after that for lunch and we watched Yes Man. wheee.

As you can see, Nic fell asleep.

Anyway, they left at about 4-5. yadidaa.
& now i'm here, posting random highlights of this week.
Been feeling easily exhausted lately. Been sleeping alot in class too, when i actually am in class. Been worrying alot. Been feeling crappy and somewhat empty.( & please la, it's not pms)

oh but doesn't mean i'm all emo. cause i'm not like that. I'm still capable of lmao.

So while i was doing work, she wrote that. which well, made me/darren/man-yi laugh our asses off later. btw, the retarded looking thing at the end of the last post, is suppose to be this huge-grinning-smiley, which turned out distorted.

Kay. so i'll start with some events my blog's been missing. I'll narate through the following pictures.

& yet the ranger sneaked us in through the jungle way as a short cut.

the road seemed endless then. gah.

When we reached Kem seroja, was raining.
worse part was, our tent was with Josh and he was about half hour behind.
Had to wait under the rain & freeze.
ended up, we were the last to pick a spot, so we settled on this small slope.

sleeping was pretty funny. kept sliding down the tent in our sleeping bags.

Day 3. the seniors + Elanthurai
While hiking. wherever this is.
getting nearer to the top. tak boleh nampak me eyes.





stick insect? I actually came in contact with thiss. woo!

Assumingly, 3-4 peaks away from korbu.
what's this called again.. pitcher plant, no?

scenery on the way upp. felt pretty victorious standing where i stood.

That felt damn good. reaching the top. but sadly, no scenery. dang =/

if the camera went a lil to the right, there will be this other climber
in sarong. after this snap, we found out he was actually halfway changing
his pants. LOL!

never before.
we slept in the tent with the cloth on top

3rd night, everyone was in mixed tents. so we just slept in whichever tent we were in.
our tent initially had additional Andrew & Chun Keat in it.
but halfway they went to their own tent to drink or smthn.
So those who slept in our tent was Chee Heng, Glad, Man, Jyen, Nic, Wilson. zigzag-ly.
Other tent had 9 peeps.
that night was pretty interesting.

2. Nic, Wilson & I high5-ing and giggling watching no.1 in the middle of the night.
3. I had to keep mother-ing Wilson, then Nicole. by making sure they're both covered with blanket(sleeping bag) cause they both shivered every now and then. especially Wilson.

I was with Theresa, Emi, Anjulie, Glad, Wilson & Vicky(who i nearly thought was Aud) under the rain laughing about nothing/everything. & singing too?
haha fun in a torturing wayy. or the other way around.

Last day. already out of mountain. half to walk to loooong road back againn.
with tons of trucks passing.

So yeah, that's a very summarised summary of Korbu.

mighta missed some stuff.
Got bitten by 7 leeches, nearly 10.
Stung by some winged insect. which got my arm a pretty swollen at a part.

and only subsided about 2 days after. oh ya, thanks Wilson, for the colgate. hahaha!

Was fun going thru all with Nic & Man.

I'm not gona talk about any ''bathroom'' experience. hahaha!

Oh & I learned to never mess with Man when she's asleep. ever.

She growls. ask nic.
Favourite/best moment? when Nic and I had the most victorious moment running down the road to the very base. that felt painful, but awesome.
Summing it up, it was a quite a tough mountain to climb, but really good experience with all those who came along. especially those 2 fululu's laa, Nic & Man.
