I Wanna

A couple of weeks ago in my head, there was dudeA saying, you should do medicine. I mean you like bio & you're the annoyingly curious type. Doctors make good money. Or you could be a vet, ya know, since you like animals.

He has a point.

Then there was dudeB, dudeA's biggest competition, who is waving around shouting, PFFFFT, medicine?! Do mass comm for heaven's sake. You love to talk, write and meet people so might as well put that to good use. Totally your field here. What if you venture into medicine & regret it? No turning back on that long expensive road there, baybeh.

He too has a point.

dudeA replies, well if you do mass comm, you know you'd always have the 'what if' thought in your head. What if you did medicine? You'd have that pang of regret, thinking of the what-could-have-been's. Plus, you know your dad would be thrilled if you did medicine. & you do like helping and all, so why not?

Damn, he know his points.

So while dudeA & dudeB continue their heated debate, there sits a very introverted dudeC, shyly suggesting, ever considered bussiness? You like to plan & strategize. Such a hugeass field here too.

I guess he's got something too.

then out of the blue, pops in dudeD out of no where, what about LAW huh?

Seriously, who on earth invited dudeD?!

This is driving me completely insane.

Love today

HELLO :)
still in the midst of shifting.
it's taking forever.
one day I'm in subang, another I'm in Shah Alam.

Sooooo, valentine's dayy.
I personally think valentine's day is slightly overrated.
Beb, let's celebrate on the 13th next year :D

Had lunch with Ad in secret recipe.
the staff there kinda looked at us weird, probably because Ad looks like a malay, with all the huha going about how valentine is haram. If only a police decided to walk in at that moment..

Adrian has a thing about taking pictures of food.

we headed to my place in Bkt Rimau.
Ironic how my brother invited him for a single's party that night. Nice one, kor.

we practically lazed all afternoon, then headed to SS19 cause he had band practice there.
ate dinner at a restaurant there where I overheard a woman's conversation about her son getting a ring for his girlfriend for valentines & how she thinks it's too much, too soon.
Ad calls it ''eavesdropping'', but really, I could be standing a hundred metres from that woman & would still be able to hear what she's saying.

Hai lo! Lei zhi arhh! ngo ge zai, hai mm hai, quay mai ya gor..
okay scratch that. I forgot how to say ring in cantonese, but you get my point.

Following pictures of Ad's band practice.
I was snooping around with my camera.

So yeah, presenting Black Light Banquet :)

Adrian on vocals.

Bernard on bass.

Kevin on lead.

Beng Ming on keyboards.
He was the most challenging, cause where he's at hardly caught much light & he moved alot.

& last but not least(overused term in high school essays), Justin on drums & backup.
at the end of it, I had ringing sounds in my ears which lasted for a couple of days.
Justin warned me about that a little too late. & Adrian only told me on the way there.

I like music they make though
they blend well together as a band. No one tryina outshine another kinda crap.
was nice getting deaf with these guys, I guess :)
& I'm not saying that just because I'm with Mr. Tan here.

Well, if you wanna check them out, feel free to click the banners below.

Remembering Sunday

Glimpse of my CNY this year :)

Wah Loong, Kampar

I know you can't tell, but that bubble thing is suppose to be a face
the upper 2 being the eyes and the distorted one below being the mouth.
it does look a lil creepy, I know, but I didn't have the heart to break it to her :/
she seemed pretty contented with the monstrous bubble anyway.

she burst the poor fella.

Dinner on the eve of new year.

girls dominate here.

I ran out of things to take.

my dad's family, once upon a time when they were kids.
He's the eldest, wearing the red retro shirt.
Never got to meet my grandfather :/

Lumut
I absolutely love the country life here.

My dad in desperation of a bolster.

so nearly everytime we go back, we go shellfish-digging when the tide's low.
observe :)
random picture. I don't know the girl.

Picture's a lil overexposed :/
but anyway, yeah, that's how we dig for shell fish.

Is it me or does this picture create a caveman impression.
uugah.

the catch at the end of the day :)
when the tide's high, the water will reach the pavement here.

say hello to Mr. I'm-not-coming-out-of-my-shell.

I dragged him to help me clean the pond.

the area right behind the house.
it used to be a nice slope but now the hill's cut, thanks to the stupid quarry.
monkeys and wild boars used to come down every once in a while, they still do sometimes.
monkeys come for the fruits on the trees, but I'm not sure why wild boars visit.

playing with firecrackers at the cut of the hill.

yes, he's king of the jungle.
He refuses to accept the fact that he still can't win me in an arm wrestling match.

it kinda looks like I've got leaves growing out of the top of my head.

you can see them running from the firecracker they just lit :)

my cousin giving it a go at our stone throwing competition.
I was embarassingly bad at it.

the view from the cut of the hill.
the house is at where the green starts.

we hiked up the hill.
I took this from the top of the cut.

So yeah, that's basically how my CNY went.
I'd say I used to enjoy CNY much more, probably because of the 'change of era'.
Like we used to play with sand and whatever simple things had to offer, creating lame games and all, but now everyone's with their laptops and psp's.
Back then, I can bribe my cousin with some sweets, now I've gota bribe with either the psp or my phone.

technology can be a bitch.

Mad as Rabbits

but I think my problem is more to actually discovering what those dreams are
but oh well, fortune cookie suggests that I'll get there, so I shall :)

Anyway, Heeehhppeee Chainiees Niuuw Year, y'all.
finally, after having the house sit there for 3 years, will start shifting over to my new place at Bkt Rimau soon.
blog might be abondoned in the process, it might not as well, so I guess we'll see.

artsie fartsie
smile, world :)
